On draft at the Odell Brewery - June 2013
A - Pitch black, lots of tan lace, and alot of sticky lace on the glass
A - Lactose, milky, chocolate of course.
T - Huge milk chocolate flavor! Extreme on the taste buds. Smooth, sweet, perfect
M - Medium carbonation, crisp
O - If you like chocolate, and you like stouts, it doesn't get any better than this. Tasty as hell!

Odell collaboration with Krug Park in Omaha, NE. Golden Ale with Chili peppers.
Appearance: 1-finger head which quickly settles. Good lacing throughout.
Nose: Very light chili pepper odors.
Taste: Generally typical golden ale odors... Chili peppers are subtle but make a nice appearance ~5-8 seconds after each sip and linger. Very mild but flavorful - excels at giving the flavor of the peppers rather than the black pepper that so many chili peppers do.
Mouthfeel: Somewhat watery as expected from the style.
Overall: Not the greatest chili beer, but not a bad introductory beer for the style. I could stand a good deal more heat, but as it stands this is very sessionable. It does feel a bit lacking on spiciness and/or heat even for a sessionable option, however. That being said, it's great to see more brewers experimenting with the style.
