Brewed as part of the Ales for ALS campaign, this beer has one word to describe it – DANK. Light bodied and super pale in color, this beer is all about the hops. The ALS blend has a good amount of Citra and Mosaic, two of our favorites, so we let them shine through. Come enjoy a pour or 2 and not only will you love the beer, you’ll be helping us contribute to a great cause.

On tap at the East Village spot.
Served in a 12 oz glass with straight sides, almost like a white wine glass. Not my favorite glass but the beer's inherent beauty blew the crappy glass away. The beer is bright yellow and very cloudy but just to the point where you can still see through it. Any cloudier wouldn't do. Perfect. Later the setting sun shone through it and it was at that point the best looking beer I've ever seen. The only knock is the head, which while quite nice didn't quite have the clumpiness that a cloudy beer such as this needs.
And oh my lord the aroma. Like a lemon if a lemon didn't have any sugar in it. I have never smelled a better smelling IPA.
The taste was not quite as lemony as the nose promised but still quite good. The initial taste was, I admit, very slightly disappointing in its lack of complexity, but as the glass gradually emptied the flavor grew harmoniously until the last drops were gone. Nothing cloying, not boozy, perfectly refreshing. If I had to compare this to something else it would be Alpine's Keene Idea. Not quite as good as that one but at this point we're splitting hairs. Brilliant beer.
Mouthfeel was to my mind unremarkable, but with a beer that tastes this good the body should take a back seat, which this one does perfectly. Ideal medium body and carbonation.
