Pungent, oily, grassy and earthy with some subtle herbal notes is how we describe the aroma and flavor of this locally sourced “fresh hop” beer. The malt profile adds some body roundness with a gentle sweetness to allow the fresh hops to be the star. Unique in flavor and highly drinkable, this beer is a great example of the nuances between fresh and processed hops. 70 lbs of Chinook, Zeus and Cascade hops were harvested and transported to our facility from ZP Growers in Valley Center within 24 hours. Our end result is a balanced pale ale with a richer hop aroma.
