This beer is brewed in collaboration with Rodger Davis from Faction Brewing out of Alameda, CA, which coincidentally just won a bronze medal at GABF 2014 for their Baltic style porter. The aroma of SatisFaction carries a combination of chocolate and slight tobacco sweetness. While the flavor boasts a big roasty character, it finishes slightly smoky and dry.

Tap at Monkey Paw. Black (!?!)! Brown head. Looks thick, out of shape, obese. Light smoke presence with chocolate, molasses, light licorice, and light roastiness. Well hidden alcohol.Black strap molasses and brown sugar, licorice and a moderate roasted malt presence. Moderately sweet. Well hidden alcohol. Nice beer.
