Brewed for Small Bar’s 5th Anniversary, this San Diego IPA has Orange zest and Cocoa nibs added in the secondary fermentation. A concept originated on a train in Belgium by Small Bar manager, Louis, and our head brewer, Cosimo. The orange enhances the influence of the Citra hops and the Cocoa creates a unique dry finish that suggests bakers cocoa, not chocolate. Low IBU’s allow this beer to be quaffed for an extended period of time but the attenuation still leads to a dry beer that won’t weigh on the palate. No matter what type of beer you’re into, you should try this one!
