Poured from a 12 oz. can purchased on 7/7. Smells and looks incredible. A - lemon, grapefruit and mandarin oranges. A - light to medium opacity with a bit of haziness. T - Tart and juicy up front, followed by an overpowering malty finish. P - good carbonation for this style of beer. O - the smell and appearance are a bit deceptive. On first sip, the palate is greeted by a tropical grapefruit and mild mandarin orange profile. This is followed by a strong wheat beer malt finish. In my opinion, the flavor upfront is incredible but the maltiness is overwhelming. I would drink again but would suggest coastal experiment with a different malt profile. .
