On draft at 49th State in Anchorage. Poured a clear, golden color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of citrus, caramel and toffee. Nice caramel, toffee and citrus flavors with a mild bitterness.

Pours light yellow with a thin white head that dissipates quickly.

Tastes very bready/biscuity with a malt sweetness. It also has a mild hop presence. A bit thin body and not much for the finish or aftertaste.

On draft at the Anchorage location. I didn't really care for this one; it came out a mostly clear lighter copper body. Smell is toasted biscuit, a bit of odd mineral astringency, grain. It's lighter in body, certainly drinkable but I couldn't get past that odd astringency and relative lack of complexity to it even accounting for the fact that it's a blonde and by definition doesn't have much complexity to it- even by that standard, it's really quite bland.

Pours clear, gold in color with 1/4 inch head. Taste is grass, cereal, and floral hops. Medium bodied, bitter with medium-low carbonation. Definitely on the hoppy side of beers of this style. Like most things from 49th State, they do the style well, even if I prefer other beers.
