Observe the glass. Dark as night. Swirl in your your hands and see it come alive. A galaxy of aromas driven forth by the starry foam. Starry night is a robust Porter with two separate additions of cocoa nibs fermented with a Trappist yeast strain it elicits chocolate both sweet abs bitter with hints of blackberry, coffee, toasted oats, banana, and clove spice.

I had this beer on-tap in a tulip at the Anchorage location. This is billed as an imperial chocolate porter.
Appearance: black hue with a finger of frothy tan foam. I like it.
Smell: nicely chocolatey with a touch of roast.
Taste: plenty of chocolate with a dash of fruitiness. Nicely balanced and quite tasty.
Mouthfeel: medium-light body with an OK carbonation and creaminess. I would have liked a little more body here.
Overall: this is a nice dessert beer. A dash more body and creaminess would be nice, though.
