I had this beer on-tap in a pint glass at the Anchorage location.
Appearance: rich dark hue with a finger of dark tan foam. Just right for the style.
Smell: a little bit of roast plus a little bit of earthy hop character create a decent balance here. Not bad.
Taste: roastiness is to the fore with not a ton of hop character but plenty of bitterness. It's not complex, but it's a serviceable example of the style.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess for the style.
Overall: like I said, it's a pretty good CDA/ABA. It's not groundbreaking, but it's drinkable enough!
