brilliant name for a hazy of this nature, and super tasty and modern beer, these guys are up there among the very best in anchorage, not quite as strong as what is listed here when we encountered it. really great stuff, juicy and fruity and definitely dank, terpene forward, perhaps done with a thiolized yeast too, seems to max out what it extracts from the hops in aroma and flavor but without pushing into green and overdone territory, a hard line to walk, but theyve done it, and this is one of the brighter and more interesting hoppy beers ive had in awhile, wow. the freshness is off the charts, the color is super pale straw to yellow, and the haze is there but its light, especially for a double, frothy white head with nice lace as it drinks, looks real good and smells even better. papaya and mango, gin and weed, zesty orange and lemon candy, passion fruit and coconut, sativa and hash oil, sexy and intense, low bitterness to me, not sure the varietals but some new school hop products seem probable. fruity in the flavor too, almost crystalized and intense, gummy worms and gummy bears, the clear ones, fruit punch notes and pineapple, good weed, tomato vine, peach, tons of hop nuance and layers, soft and dry but balancing grain, no alcohol at all, and a bit more late bitterness than i could smell, but still pretty restrained as these go. definite weed character in it, as advertised, dank and skunky in that weed way, terp town! well integrated. super fresh and flavorful, way better than what others are doing in this style space, id love to know some recipe details!

Tasted from the tap at the Anchorage brewpub.
L - Pale straw and a light, white haziness, but still transparent. Fluffy, permanent head.
S - Tropical and grassy aroma from the hops. A little malt sweetness is apparent.
T - Tropical hops dominate the flavor, but some sweet, bready malts add depth. There is a bit of an herbal note that may be the cannabis product that was mentioned in the description. I am not a cannabis user and I ordered this beer before realizing there was a cannabis or hemp product used in the brewing process. I don't remember the details that were described, but my impression was they did not use a THC-containing product.
F - Medium body with light to moderate carbonation. Moderate hops bitterness. Some alcohol warmth.
O - A decent DIPA with good balance, but not too noteworthy for me, since I don't care about the use of cannabis byproducts.
