Had this beer at the brewery restaurant in Healy, Alaska while vacationing in Denali National Park. A really great treatment of a Russian Imperial Stout. Good mix of chocolate tones along with black cherry and port. Slightly more carbonated than my benchmark of this style from North Coast and served colder than I usually drink this style. Though on this relatively warm Alaska evening, the cool factor was appreciated.
Made for a great desert after enjoyable meals of a spinach salad (great blueberries) and a King Salmon burger that was fantastic. And as I write this review after 10pm in Alaska, it is as bright outside as 4pm these days back home in Southern California. Wild.
