Pours thick and opaque with a nice, brown head.
Smells like a dry stout with some hints of rye. Barley is super dark roasted and not particularly chocolatey, but it works as a higher ABV dry stout.
Chocolate is much more present in the flavor. Starts with sweet cocoa then sweeps sharply into a bitter middle and finish of rye and burnt barley. Bold and little unbalanced but enjoyable throughout.
