Another beer from the founding father of the canquest, woodychandler. Poured from a 16 oz. can. Has a golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is herbal, some citrus. Taste is the same, herbal, citrus, mainly grapefruit, some spices, moderate bitterness. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a pretty good beer.

I'm impressed for how well they've nailed this pale ale. All the right amounts of flavors in all the right places. The aroma of quince, starfruit, pepper and pomme fruit interplay with dank to create a massive, yet subtle hop character. Zythos, I'm glad we met.

16 oz can poured into Spiegelau glass no canned on date.
A: Lighter amber body with a touch of dirty gold, great clarity. The head was small and white settles to a film.
S: Apricots, honey, herbal, light bits of grapefuit rind. A little bit perfumey.
T: Very perfumey, slight berries taste a little bit of grapefruit on the end. The perfumey taste clings to the tongue on the aftertaste.
M: medium to light
O: Pretty good beer I don't think I have ever had Zythos hops but I like them. This beer has a nice berry presence and it is easy to drink.
