Draft pour into a taster glass.
Pale hazy yellow with a fizzy head that dissipates quickly. Juicy citrus, grapefruit, light pine notes. Light/Moderate mouthfeel, medium carbonation, crisp on the palate.

A- Floury/cloudy pour from the 12oz can into a tall Allagash chalice. The body is a pale yellow and a head quickly rises to one finger with a very frothy consistency. Decent head retention and a wide ring as well as some islands remain atop the beer. Lacing is plentiful with large webs wrapping around the glass.
S- Fruity hops, for the most part, with some bready, grainy and lightly sweet notes in the backdrop supporting. The hops come off as equally tropical/stone fruit and citrus with some floral and dank herbal hints too. Mango, melon, bubble gum, tangerine, grapefruit and creamsicle come to mind.
T- If anything, Citra feels like one of the more consistent hops of the years in terms of flavor profile and general pleasantness on the palate. Again a nice mix of tropical juicy fruits and more bitter, zesty citrus hops with some floral and herbal notes. Orange, tangerine, melon, mango, papaya, grapefruit pith, dank and flowery notes with a hint of lemon/lime. A touch of crackery and bready grain.
MF- Light bodied as one would expect for a 4% IPA with a moderately high level of carbonation. The texture is just a bit lacking but again at this ABV it is on par with other examples of the style with just a hint of creamy texture. Ends with a medium bitterness.
Compared to other sessions the aroma is deep and rich with plenty of juicy and zesty fruity hops. The flavor drops off just a bit but still has a solid hop profile with light grains supporting. Perhaps a bit light on the body and overall flavor captured in the taste.

Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours cloudy yellow orange with a tiny white head. Smells of strong citrus, especially passion fruit. Tastes of passion fruit and grassy hops. Beer is light bodied and very easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.

I like the low carbonation level - my idea of what a session beer should be.

Dark straw with some chill haze. White head without much retention, but good lace.
Lots of pineapple and mango hop aroma.
Flavor follows smells, with a little lemon in there as well, but much more subdued. A little bit of grainy malt.
A tad thin, could use more carbonation.
Decent enough lawnmower beer.
