Not my favorite of the 100 series. Body and look of the beer was spot on, similar to the previous batches. However, the aroma and flavor of Enigma is something of a mystery? I got a huge amount of melon rinds and it was not appealing to me. Possibly blended this would have been a better hop forward beer IMO. Base beer was still solid.

Enigma hop is definitely unique. Probably better off in a blended hop ipa. Well made nonetheless.

When you crack into this you might as well be opening a can of pineapples. Uber tropical nose mixed with pine resin. These initial impressions carry through to the palate. Like pineapple juice French pressed with dank weed. Coats the palate. Plenty juicy but still plenty bitter. Beginning to remind me of a Lagunitas offering, but with more lingering dank/savory notes. Pretty killer!
