This juicy pale ale was double dry hopped with Summer and Rakau hops that lend a generous amount of bright fruity aromas including citrus, stone fruit, and pine.

Here's another beer made possible to order from the other side of the country by the small business economic shutdown.

Poured into that same 2013 Marquette jersey pint glass during a game (we're wearing yellow in this one).
The pour is dark gold, but hazy. There's like 1/2" white head on the top. Summer and Rakau hops aren't the most banging aroma hops, but the Rakau comes through a little bit which makes sense since its a total little brother from down under kind of hop here.

Taste reveals a light down under breathiness, citric rind and gooseberry combo, but with a wooden malt aspect to it. Perhaps that is the "summer" hops. I dunno, I thought they had been discontinued. Might have got a screamin' deal on them. Its interesting that this has some white/winter wheat that makes it hazy, as there was a degree of bitterness and woodiness you don't normally come across in a hazy beer. Because of that, I would have guessed the abv on this as around 7%, not 5%. It was a decently fun drink but not exactly going to bump CA out of the pale ale game.

On tap in Baltimore, MD. Pint glass

Looks part breakfast juice, part hazy pale ale. Thick white cap, fat rings of lacing.

Lots of fruit. Orange citrus, lemon , some tropical, too. Strong pale malt Very pleasing aroma and flavor.

Medium body, juicy. Some hop bitterness. Inviting drinker at 5.3% abv.

Another well done unfiltered Burley brew.

On tap at Himmeriget.

Pours a hazy yellow with fine, thick foam.

Smell is very tropical and juicy, with notes of mango on top and just a hint of pine underneath.

Taste takes everything from the nose and throws in some balanced bitterness and hop bite along with some apricots.

Mouthfeel is medium and soft, well carbonated.

Overall, a terrific modern pale ale with a superb mouthfeel,

On tap. Looked like orange juice in the glass. No kidding. I could have been drinking a mimosa. But the flavor was all pale ale--hops, with a nice unfiltered mouthfeel and a subtle, smooth wheat undertone. Very enjoyable addition to the bartender choice sample flight at Oscar's Pub. Not sure this is one I'd seek out again, but it made me remark how much fun it is that breweries are experimenting with different variations on the traditional styles. This one was definitely unique. In a good way.

"Juicy pale ale brewed with raw white wheat and DDH with Summer and Rakau hops."

Looks and feels thick and turbid. Tons of orange flavor with some lemon and tropical fruit. Kind of amazing for a mere 5.3% abv; I would have put this at 7% abv or so.
