Enjoyable but doesn't capture character of Mosaic hop. No freshness dating. Sample may not have been as fresh as it could be.

Canned 6/8/22 (12 weeks ago)
Appearance: Pours a mostly hazy (30% clarity) medium orange color with a moderate white head. SRM of 7. (4.00)
Aroma: Strong pineapple upfront. Moderate aromas of dank herbal and pine notes that quickly mix in. Foresty. Some dank berry aromas underneath. (4.00)
Flavor: Moderate flavors of grapefruit citrus, bitter orange peel, with more pineapple. A dank and piney bite. Finishes relatively bitter and dry. (4.00)
Feel: Medium-bodied. Strong carbonation. Leaves bitter and relatively dry. Some hop burn detected off the end. (3.75)
Compared to Equillibrium Data Points 8/28/22: Pours similar. A milder head. Milder aromas. More citrus rind, pineapple rind, and pine. Less mango cream, mango skins and berries. Lighter, cleaner, dryer, and more bitter finish.
Compared to Sapwood Cellars M.O.S.A.I.C 4/26: Pours darker, stronger head. Milder aromas. Less blueberry, melon. More orange zest.
Overall: A decent imperial IPA here. Drinks with lots of pineapple and citrus. Lots of pine with a more bitter finish. Not sure it's a NEIPA or just an imperial IPA. Relatively bitter and clean with a herbal/pine bite. A little hop burn and alcohol shows through. Okay, but nothing special. (Rating: 3.87)

Pours a hazy orange with soft, fluffy head.
Smell is juicy with notes of stonefruit, tea, yeast and a hint of gunpowder.
Taste is juicy and fruity with notes of pineapple, tea, citrus, peach and a soft bitterness.
Mouthfeel is medium, soft and well carbonated.
Overall, a nice, if a little generic DIPA.

Growler into pint glass. Pours a hazy amber with a brief, thin head. No lacing. Initial impression is mango, floral notes, light citrus, and maybe a touch of pine resin. Mouthfeel is, frankly, a little thin for a DIPA. Alcohol is very well hidden. Finish is somewhat sweet, with a light citrus touch that sets up the ‬next sip. Overall, this one doesn't really stand out in any one area. It's enjoyable but not remarkable.
