A brand new TIPA, we brewed this with incredibly generous amounts of Galaxy, Nelson, Citra and Enigma. A powerhouse hop combo, this ale has insane aroma and flavor notes of fresh juicy pineapples, white grapes, peach rings, dripping oranges, and gooseberries. Clocking in at over 9% ABV, this ale is pillowy smooth and incredibly easy drinking.

Canned 1/21/21.

L: Pours a deep orange-yellow with a surprisingly fluffy head that stays for a while. Thick, clumpy lacing.

S: Peach, pineapple, orange, tangerine. A little alcohol.

T: All those noses blend, up front and in the middle. Finish isn't bitter or sweet. Unbelievably, it's not hot.

F: Medium to tickly mouthfeel. Carbonation seems right.

O; An outstanding TIPA. Fruity and tropical without any sweet stickiness or heat.

Copenhagen 30/8 2021. 47,3 cl can from Ølkassen web-shop. A very red bike on a very yellow background on the can.

Pours opaque, hazy, slightly dirty, golden yellow with a big white head. Settles as thin, frothy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.

Aroma is intense with a sweet, fermented fruity odor overpowering subtle citric notes. Mango, papaya and passion fruit. Boozy decay. light whiff of grapefruit.

Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.

Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a slightly more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingering. Finish is fairly dry with a boozy edge.

Potent, flavorful with it's own boozy charm.

Can dated 1/21/21 (picked up the the brewery can release) into pint glass. Pours a murky amber with a persistent off-white head. Initial impression is pineapple, peach, white grape juice, orange, mango, and a hint of caramel. Mouthfeel is medium but not sticky. Alcohol is extremely well hidden. Finish is somewhat astringent, which is a surprise given the initial juiciness. Overall, a very enjoyable TIPA but not my all-time fave from Burley.
