I cracked open the can and it immediately smelled like a pie.
Pours deep and thick like an almost reddish blackberry puree with a brief light violent head. The marshmallow is most discernible while the fruits meld together as a general fruit aroma. As it warms, I detect cinnamon and possibly other spices giving away its "cobbler" character, which includes detectable brown sugar. It's certainly a sour and comes off that way at first, but it reveals itself to be a more complex pastry sour bordering on a smoothie style sour. It tastes pretty good and is both refreshing and enjoyable, though it may get a little cloying as it warms.

6 oz mini-snifter pour at Lures Bar & Grille. Pours reddish/purple with a small head. Aroma and flavor feature dark berries, streusel, sweet marshmallow, vanilla, and maaaaybe some orange/citrus. What we have here is yet another overly sweet/spiced/dump a pallet of pastries in the kettle "beer", all too common from Burley Oak these days (and many other breweries). At least the mouthfeel isn't thick and viscous. Sadly that's probably the best aspect of this brew.
