Smell gives off crackery malty caramel, milk chocolate, decadent fudginess. Body opens with salty caramel, unfolds into an icecream-and-fudge dessert on a smooth, smooth mouthfeel with sweet, rummy aftertaste. Very good stout, but not quite as complex as I'd expect for the price point.

A can poured into a stemless snifter.
A dark pour with a foamy head with high retention and some slippery lacing.
The intense roasted malt flavors and 30 IBU helps offset the booziness a little.
Chocolate, coffee, and molasses all come to mind. The salted caramel flavor lurks in the background with the oysters. The finish is dry, with a chocolatey tang and saltiness.

Easy drinking for 9.5%. Lots of roast, a hint of chocolate, and then a subtly salty dry finish.
