A single pour emptied the entire contents of a pint can into a clear glass liter mug. Considering lactose is an ingredient, the liquid flowed rather thinly. It's reddish violet in color, opaque and bubbly. There was an off-white head, just briefly. It smells like a berry blend, without a leading note. That's also how it tastes. Not only is it missing a dominant specific berry taste, it just doesn't bring any strong tastes at all. Perhaps the lactose muddles things, as it provides a bit of a body. Yet, the milk solids don't make this unpleasantly sticky, nor viscose. This brings a mild sourness and the combination of ingredients makes for a pleasant sweet and tart contrast. There's a little woodiness to the finish, which is reasonably clean for a lactose infused brew. It's nice to try, but hardly praiseworthy.
