Pours a fairly clear amber with a small, slow forming light tan head. Not much lacing or retention.
Aroma is caramel malt, rye spice, and bread dough. Not much hop presence but a bit of pine and earth.
Spicy rye malt to start. Caramel, dough, pepper, and earth. Some piney hops and maybe a touch of citrus.
Medium body with.crisp carbonation. Malty and spicy from the rye with some underlying sweetness.
A decent beer which I never would have guessed was a DIPA. Big rye seems to coverup whatever hops are there.
