Phillips Brewing and BC Hop Co have announced the release of a new beer that puts the spotlight on a strain of hops that are distinctive to the area. Lumberjacked Fresh Hop Pale Ale was brewed using Lumberjack hops, which are unique to BC Hop Co’s Sumas Prairie farm, and are described as “predominantly bitter with notes of melon, sweet citrus and hints of clove and allspice.”
