Very cloudy in appearance with a dark yellow color to it, poured with an uncontrollable amount of head to it, almost instantly filling more then half the glass with a meringue-like puffy white head that had a pretty resilient retention to it and left a lots of lacy patchwork on the side of the glass when it finally receded.
Fruity, sweet aroma, notes of stone fruit and pineapple with a slight funk on the back end.
Sweet and fruity front end with a canned fruit cocktail flavor with notes of slightly syrupy, canned peaches and pineapple, vague hints of maybe some nutmeg that floats around the palate.
Body is medium/ heavy with a higher then average carbonation and solid caramel sweetness that lands a bit too close to over-sweet, in my opinion.
Finishes with some lightly dusty saison-like esters with a faintly footy hint that gets mostly covered up by a fairly strong bitter and lingering resinously piney/ herbal hop flavor that mostly complements the lingering front-end sweetness on the aftertaste.
