This beer pours a golden/amber color with a large head that dissipates quickly. The aroma is citrusy and slightly tropical. The taste is similar to the aroma with a good malt flavor added. Good solid Festbier. My friend Ron got this beer for me when he went to Victoria, BC. BB 4-2-2025.

Pours a dark straw colour with a white head. Lots of straw and some bdweet malt on the nose. The taste is quite malt-forward, with a pretty nice malty note, and then finishes with some slightly orangey or almsot grapefruit hops, not overbearing but not exactly welcome either in this style. Still, the sweet malt is nice and in point for the stlye, and the balance is pretty good. It is very smooth for how strong it is, the alcohol totally unobtrusive. Overall quite drinkable.
