Similar to Dirty Squirrel but less nutty. Dark copper and mahogany body with a decent fluffy head.
Toffee, chocolates, a bit of raisin and nice dark malt scent. Light bitterness. Nice malt taste, definite toffee and biscuits, gentle sweetness. Dry taste at the end, but the bitterness isn't as pronounced as in the scent. Nice, light hoppiness really smooths out the malts.
Carbonation is a bit vigorous at first, but as this breathes, it really eases off. Good weight to it, not too thick. Great brown ale!
