Just discovered an old review I wrote for this brew on a piece of paper. So, here goes nothing...
L: Very interesting looking. Cloudy light yellow. Thin white head that dissipates rather quickly.
S: Musty, light aroma, some hops.
T: Musty, light taste, grapefruit.
F: Very dry, light mouthfeel.
O: Not enjoyable.

I had this one on tap at Blue 5 in downtown Roanoke. Served in a small imperial pint style glass. (Thinking its 14 or 16 oz.) the beer is gold with a slight chill haze. There is a slim off white foam and good lacing.
Floral hops and grains on the nose.
Taste is balanced with cracker notes from the malts and and just a bit of pepper and floral hops. Beer sweetens a bit as it warms.
The mouth has the right thickness but could use more carbonation to give it crispness and some snap.
If it had a bit more carbonation, it would be really good. It could be the bar to blame but not sure.
