A: This poured an opaque black with a little dark tan head.
S: It smelled like oak and toasted coconut and rich dark chocolate, with some roasted coffee and prunes and oats and alcohol.
T: It tasted like sweet mocha and prunes, with some oak and toasted coconut and roasted oats. It had a clean and sweet aftertaste with some alcohol warming.
M: It was thick with a little carbonation. Great big body.
D: This was a great bourbon stout, a little on the sweet side. The scent and taste were bold and fairly complex, and the body was excellent. The finish was smooth but a little hot, so it was better to sip. A treat to try this brew.
