At the West Creek Brewery.
Mango juice haze with a creamy head.
Barley, mango, and orange peel covered in a layer of dankness.
Mango and peach predominate, but that dank undertone is still there.
Soft body that makes for a very comfortable sip and no sign of the 8.5%. The carbonation is on the softer side, but does keep things from being heavy.
Hardywood certainly has an IPA formula and is very good at making refined beers.

L: Poured from a tallboy can to a pint glass. Had a dirty orange color and an extremely cloudy consistency. There was a 3/4", foamy, somewhat long-lasting head. Excellent lacing.
S: A very good aroma of dank hops, citrus fruit, pine, malt, and tropical fruit.
T: Tasted of a mild amount of pine resin (just a hint), some tropical fruit (mango, pineapple), an above average amount of dank hops (fairly bitter), light malt (mostly in the finish), and a little citrus (orange, in particular). A solid, hop-centric flavor. It's a good mix of bitter hops and light, sweet fruit. There are even some funky notes in it. An interesting taste.
F: A well-carbonated beer with a sharp, slightly bitter finish. Medium-bodied.
O: A likable, easy to drink DIPA. Worth a look.

A: A very hazy pale golden amber with a small amount of white head.
S: Onion and herb are the first thing that come to mind. A touch of tropical fruit in the finish.
T: Still a touch of onion right off the bat.. almost like a green onion rather than what I would normally pick up from something like simcoe. After that there are tropical notes, notably pineapple, and mango with some syrup nptes.
M: Medium in body with moderate carbonation.
O: Decent, but the hop aroma seems a little funky to me, especially with so many breweries knocking it out of the park with this style right now.
