750ml bottle poured into a snifter
A-pours black in color with a one-finger foamy khaki head that has short retention
S- strong adjuncts pop out of this one with cinnamon and ginger leading the way, undertones of chocolate with a big rum notes popping out at the end
T- all of the adjuncts of regular GBS are there, but intensified; bold ginger and cinnamon, gingersnap cookies & chocolate. Plenty of rum barrel to match up with the adjuncts, adding a distinct sweet rum note of cola and brown sugar
M- medium body with moderate carbonation, thick and creamy mouthfeel with a warming finish
O- one of the favorite variants from the 2018 set, big and bold

The beer pours a nice brown head that dissipates quickly. The beer itself has a nice dark chocolate brown that resembles a good black color. The texture is also interesting because it comes out as a bit more thinner and creamy. The smell is decent. It has a very strong rum note to it that brings the ginger with it and some light spice note and a honey finish at the end. The vanilla bean notes surround the stronger rum notes but the ginger and the rum come out more. The taste is pretty good and a bit more complex and interesting. The ginger and other spices come out more while the rum is a bit more bittersweet and comes out more than it did. The finish is definitely a good gingerbread note. The feel is good. It has a heavy body but a thin and creamy texture to it. There is very little carbonation to it and is decent. Overall, a decent and good version of the GBS.
