Pours with a ton of gunk filling the glass at the end. Need to let this sit for a while after pouring for the crap to settle to the bottom and be careful not to stir it up too much. Nose is particularly malty for the style with some sticky pine and a bit of citrus. Tastes boozier that expected for the ABV, malt and pine again. Not bad but not special. Reminds me of some of Stone's so-so offerings.

L: Poured from a tallboy can to a snifter glass. Had an amber / orange color and a cloudy consistency. There was a half inch of fluffy, creamy, somewhat long-lasting head. Above average lacing.
S: A good, but not spectacular, aroma of hops, tropical fruit, citrus fruit, malt, and pine.
T: Tasted of a small amount of malt (barely present, mostly in the finish), a little tinge of pine, some tropical fruit (mango), a bit of citrus fruit (oranges), and moderate amount of hops (not overdone). A decent enough flavor, but kind of underwhelming. None of the ingredients really stand out, leaving you with a bland mix.
F: A good amount of carbonation with a smooth, soft finish. Light- to medium-bodied.
O: This is definitely an uneven beer, but it has its good points.
