L: Poured from a tallboy can to a pint glass. Had a coppery color and a fairly cloudy consistency. There was a quarter inch of foamy head that quickly dissipated. Average lacing.
S: A interesting aroma of pine (a lot of it), hops, malt, and a little citrus fruit.
T: Tasted of a good shot of hops (a major factor, but not overdone), a tinge of citrus fruit (lemon, in particular - very fleeting), lots of pine (the main ingredient here), and a decent bit of malt (mostly in the finish, but muted by the other elements). An interesting, if kind of old-fashioned, flavor. It borders on being one-note. Pretty good, though.
F: A so-so amount of carbonation with a sharp, bitter finish. Medium-bodied.
O: A slightly uneven beer, but it has some good attributes. Worth a look.
