From the pint can, it pours a hazy light golden color with a modest white head that slowly reduces and leaves lacing. The nose gets a nice dose of citrus, followed by the mouth gets a citrusy bite followed by a pleasant malt flavor. Modest short lived bitter aftertaste.

Light citrusy hop aroma and flavor. OK balance with decent bitterness. Medium to light bodied with a dry bitter finish. Meh. Not sold on Cold IPAs yet but I’ll drink this for a good cause.

This is a 16oz can purchased from a shelf. From the bottom of the can: "CANCER SUCKS 4/14/25 13:26"

Appearance: It has a light gold body with a bit of haze. There is a medium-sized fluffy white head with very good retention. Some strings of lacing are on the glass. It's a great looking beer.

Aroma: There are light notes of grapefruit, peach, and grain flour. It mostly has this soft peach aroma which is pleasant.

Taste: Up front there Is a bit of grapefruit mixed with a touch of mango, then it picks up some rye cracker flavor with black pepper and agave towards the center. The back of the palate has more of this agave flavor mixed with pine, light pineapple, and more bitter grapefruit. It is a very flavorful beer. The label doesn't seem to state anything about what ingredients are used in this beer but the hop and grain selections are very tasty.

Mouthfeel: It has a medium-light body with a medium-strength of hop bitterness that has a bit of a west-coast IPA feel but slightly more texture. It is a very pleasant beer to drink and it feels rewarding. The beer respects the drinker and it makes it feel worthwhile to drink.

Overall: The label states "COLD INDIA PALE ALE" and there have not been many Cold IPAs on the market that turn out well. It's important to note because this is probably the best one I've had. The hop flavors taste fresh and there is a pleasant mix of fruity and herbal character while preserving the grain flavor. The aroma is soft but pleasant. As a whole I definitely enjoyed this beer and it would be a welcome addition as a permanent lineup to Hardywood if they choose to do so. I would highly recommend it and I would buy it again.

16 oz can from the brewery in West Creek, VA The ale poured an almost clear light amber with a small off white head and limited lacing. The ale had very poor head retention. The aroma of citrus and tropical fruit greets you. The selection of hops was excellent, with nice hop flavors and a bitter aftertaste. The ale has a medium body nd soft carbonation
