Look: It pours very dark brown with a tan head and very low head retention.
Aroma: It has chocolate and dark chocolate aroma with roast.
Taste: It has chocolate flavors with vanilla and roast. There are also cinnamon and ginger notes in the background. There are some dark fruits most resembling plums.
Feel: It has a full body with a mildly sweet finish.
Overall, the aromas are not very pronounce, but the flavors and complex and work well together.

Pours near black - more than the peppermint stout. The head isn't as forthcoming, though, settling into a decent looking imperial stout look. Nose is light, but does have a holiday bread infused with a streak of chocolate vibe to it. Nice notes, but a bit muted.
The GBS base comes through in the taste, with a slight bit more richness and a cocoa powder thread running through it. I can't say I get the cinnamon distinctly, but I think that pairing with ginger masks its presence just a bit. The chocolate comes out more as it warms, as the ginger (and its cinnamon dancing partner) settles down a bit.
I don't get any coconut, though I could argue for some nutmeg showing up late in the taste after the beer warms a bit. Overall, though, a pretty solid beer.

The beer pours a nice dark tan head that dissipates quickly. It has a creamy texture to it. The beer itself is a dark chocolate black that looks very nice.
The smell is delicious! It has a strong spice combination of nutmeg (the strongest note) and cinnamon, a light coconut, and a light slightly bitter chocolate in the finish.
The taste is indulgent. The cocoa nibs come out upfront followed by a moderate note of the spices with the coconut coming out in the finish. All the different notes complement each other very well.
The feel is pretty good. It has a medium heavy body and a very smooth feel to it. It feels very fluffy.
Overall, this is a pretty good beer. I love how sweet and spicey it is without being too sugary.
