Appearance: Arrives with a coffee brown color but not much of a head; little lacing
Smell: Caramel, fig and dates
Taste: Caramel tones, up front, with the dark dried fruit flavors developing in the middle; post swallow, there is a bit of hop action to balance out the sweet flavors
Mouthfeel: Full bodied with low to moderate carbonation
Overall: A pretty fine example of a style that is not often attempted on this side of the pond

I'm terrible at doing reviews, but wanted to add this one to the list.
Had this served on tap at the brewery, and then took a growler home to share. Pours a nice dark brown color with no head or lacing. The aroma has a nice Belgian-ish (not a word) scent. I really enjoyed the taste as well, very enjoyable, and very good for the style.
Hopefully someone can come along and write a better review. Thanks again for letting me come in when you were closed, guys!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
