Pours a straw color with a large head that slowly recedes leaving an inch of lacing. Aroma of bready malts and and grassy hops. Taste is where this excels. A biscuit and malt body with a grassy hop finish that is refreshing. The bready body is balanced by a smooth transition to a slightly hoppy finish. The hops aren't bitter or too strong. Medium-light body with medium carbonation and no aftertastes.
A well done pilsener that achieves a balance between malts and hops. Drinkable year round and a good example of an American made pilsener.

Growler from Premium Draught in Houston.
A: Pours a perfectly straw/yellow color. A towering and dense white head forms with excellent retention and lace all the way down my Pilsener glass.
S: Cereal grains up front, bready and biscuit like malts. Green, leafy, grassy hops linger. Simple, but really enjoyable.
T: Like the nose simple, to the point and something I really like. Grains, bread, and biscuit like malts. That quickly fades to a grassy bitterness. Green tea like, maybe a bit to "green" but still something that I like more and more with each sip. No off flavors either.
M/D: A light body that is very effervescent. Perfectly crisp, and finishes dry. Super clean with no off flavor at all, which is impressive. This really grows on me, and it is something I want to keep coming back to again and again. Really enjoyable, and super easy to drink. I'm amazed at how fast the growler is gone.
A great classic and simple interpretation of a Pilsner. Actually, this might be one of the better examples of the style made in Texas. Like all good subtle beers, I don't want this to end and it becomes more enjoyable the more I drink. Well made, highly recommended, and something I hope they make more of.
