Look: Almost black, very little dark brown head.
Smell: Almost totally chocolate. Hereby bar, chocolate milkshake. A little coffee off in the distance.
Taste: More coffee than in the smell. Chocolate syrup, some toffee, a lot of strong black coffee. It’s better as it warms to the mid 50’s. You can taste the alcohol.
Medium mouthfeel.
Overall it’s boozy but well made and a real treat.

Look: deep brown pour with a fizzy tan head that bubble much, then subsides and leave no head at all
Smell: espresso, chocolate, Malt, a bit boozy
Taste: dark roasty malt with dark roasty coffee, espresso flavor. Very light dark chocolate, a little plum/stonefruit
Feel: medium to full body. not that "thick" feeling I would expect from a 10.5%, but also not disappointing; just unexpected
Overall: A roasty, toasty, malty, coffee, bourbon beer that is quite nice. props to Karback and to Katz coffee on this one. Very drinkable, complex and smooth!

Pours black with a dark, fizzy khaki head that quickly fades
Nose is huge wave of fresh brewed dark roast coffee, with a touch of bourbon
Fresh, dark roasted coffee, soft bourbon. Chocolate. Finish is a lingering coffee bean - like chewing a coffee bean
Mouthfeel is thin and fizzy. Would expect lower carb and a thicker, creamier finish
