Slightly sweetish with a pleasing rounded crisp hop finish.

This was decent enough, but not one I would seek out, given the many other options in Texas.

Had this beer after two hockey games with pizza. A very competent pilsner and it went very well with the pizza. Had I from the can but the beer looked fine and the can design was good.

The smell and taste of this beer was bright, fresh and floral. Refreshing and very good with food. Very nice feel for a pilsner. This is something I would get for a barbecue.

A: Pours a beautiful and clear golden yellow color. A white head rises to about two fingers. Light lace is left behind.
S: A really neutral nose. Some cereal, and maybe corn, grains, but really nothing much here.
T: Like the nose cereal grains and corn. Some sweetness in that regard, and even a touch of butter (oh no the dreaded D word). Maybe the basic hint of grassy hops, but sweetness is what actually lingers.
M/O: A light body and moderate carbonation. Thats about it, its just there and wet. OK to drink, in the I don't want to think about this kind of way. Though not something I'm looking to come back to.

I finally tried this, just out of curiosity, and its average in every way. Nondescript, by the books, anything else along those lines you can say. It wants to be a Saint Arnold lager, but not nearly as clean, or enjoyable (at least IMO). I had it once, probably not going to have it again...

Pours a clear, golden in color with a decent amount of foamy head that dissipates rather quickly to a thin layer. Not much lacing. Carbonation looks average. Smell is sweet grains and grass with a hint of white wine. Taste follows the nose quite well. This is not a complex beer by any means. It's sweet grains and grassy hops with a lemon twist. Finishes crisp and slightly dry. Body is on the lighter side, but not thin, with a tiny bit of chewiness. Overall, I enjoyed this beer for what it is, simple and refreshing.

PS: to the reviewer complaining that this doesn't have pilsner malts in it -- it is brewed with 2-row, Vienna and Munich malts, so not a "traditional" pilsner. That said, pilsner malts are a type of 2-row, so it's not really all that different, it just depends what flavor/color/mouthfeel you are going for. So kind of splitting hairs.

I’ve tried several pilsners over the years. This one is a favorite of mine!

Look: Medium dark gold, clear.
Smell: Very grainy, cut grass, earthy.
Taste: Also very grainy, unfortunately no Pilsner flavor coming through because as it states on the can, there’s no Pilsner malt in it.
Mouthfeel: A bit heavy for the style, medium dry.
Overall I’m disappointed, if there’s no Pilsner malt in it, it’s not a Pilsner. The hop profile was good. I just can’t understand why they didn’t just use Pilsner malt. Don’t bother with it, there’s much better pils out there.
