Flavor: On the first Day of IPAs, this Dry Hopped Texas IPA is packed with the bitterness of hops from around the world. Notes of caramel sweetness are balanced by a combination of light berry, grapefruit, & piney resinous hop characteristics.

Poured from bottle into tulip, good 2+ finger off white/lite tan head. Good retention and lacing. Crystal clear amber in the glass, can read thru it. Citrus and pine on the nose, some slight caramel lingering in the background. Taste follows the nose, old school American IPA, slight citrus with a big pine punch, some caramel sweetness and it finishes off with a good firm bitterness. Residual pine on the palate, in a good way. This looks and drinks like Harpoon IPA, which if you gave me both of these side by side I would be hard pressed to choose which is which. And that is a compliment because there is always Harpoon in my beer fridge. I love going back every now and then to the way IPA's used to be.
Edit. bumping looks to a 4.5 from 4.2 as this beer is leaving ridiculous lacing

L: clear dark amber copper color super carbonated streams of bubbles everywhere off white head bubbly and holds retention
S: mellow citrus low grainy low apple tart smell
T: very low citrus taste doesn’t follow the nose more grainy than juicy the only bad thing is that I can taste an alcohol flavor after taste like I put a shot of vodka in the beer
F: carbed nicely dry finish medium body
O: good beer first American style IPA I had if you don’t count the west coasts and NEIPAs great color great body mellow smell after taste is a little off but still drinkable
