Flavor: On the 3rd day of IPAs, this Double IPA is packed with malt flavors giving it double the intensity. It’s slightly sweet aroma and toffee sweetness cover the tongue, balanced by stone fruit and finishes with a resinous piney bitterness.

I mean, it's probably a good quality beer, I like the brewer, but this much alcohol ruined the bright and zesty IPA experience for me.
I picked up the 12 pack and much prefer the Hopadillo thing with about 60% the alcohol. If you can drink it fast and want a buzz in a hurry, go for it.

Poured from can into tulip, good 2+ finger kaki colored head, good retention and excellent lacing. Dark Amber in the glass, crystal clear to look at. Big pine and caramel on the nose, almost anything else is well hidden. Starts off with a big dose of malt sweetness, pine, citrus and caramel malt dominate this beer. Taste is on the sweeter side, but the bitterness on the finish tames it down. Residual caramel and pine on the palate. This is another throwback beer, and probably has the same percentages as 1 & 2 in the mix pack , just a bigger dose, they all share the same taste profile, old-school. If you want/like a WC Double IPA, then this is a good example.

L: dark amber body tan light brown thick head
Nothing I would expect out of a double IPA
S: malty sour chocolate toffee but not very strong
T: very nutty toffee roast mild bitterness
F: body is thick almost creamy like a cream ale but ends very sticky
O: overall I was expecting a juicy DIPA not a roasted toffee but it’s drinkable at a good 9.5% beer usually over 8% it gets quite bitter or alcoholy
