11.2 ,oz. bottle poured into pilsner glass, $1.99 at HEB
Look: Medium brown, like a watered-down cola, one-finger head disappeared quickly into thin film, lots of bubbles
Smell: Malty, some floral notes
Taste: Medium bitterness, toasty, strong aftertaste
Feel: Some carbonation, good mouthfeel
Overall: Not too bad. The carbonation is less than the appearance. A middle ground complexity between a sipping dark and slammin' crisp lager. With other superior beers, I probably would not buy again.
Pair with English cheddar, and traditional pub foods- shepherds pie, fish and chips, bangers and mash.

Poured from bottle to glass, 1 finger light khaki head, so so retention, good lacing. Dark reddish amber in the glass, crystal clear. Floral and herbal notes on the nose, slight underlying toffee lingering around. Taste is bready malt, floral/herbal hops and slight fruitiness. Finish with a mild bitterness and is on the dry side. Clean drinking beer, very little personality

F: body is a little thin but finishes very dry and clean barely any carbonation
O: good malty beer great malty flavors but a little thin with no carbonation the clean finish on this beer is it’s saving grace along with the malt flavor
