Poured from bottle into tulip, good 2+ finger head, good retention and excellent lacing. Light amber in the glass, crystal clear to look at. Nose is weird, very bright smelling not dank, but the smell is interesting, it smells like sappy pine resin, think it is because they hopped this one with terpenes oils. Regardless, doesn't smell bad, just different. Taste is big pine, more on the resinous side than the dank side. When drinking it, it is what you think licking your hands after handling a Christmas tree would taste like. It drinks more bright than dank, but honestly it still drinks good. Not overly bitter on the finish, and there is a pine candy aftertaste that is left on the palate.

 

L: copper very crystal clear no carb streams small head caps off
S: low pineapple low pine smell is not very strong but there
T: nutty low pine mid bitter
F: low to medium body low carb finishes crisp and dry
O: for a “dank” IPA I was expecting dank but it falls short it’s missing that Mexican dank hop smell that would develop that smell better

Didn’t get the dank on the nose
