Flavor: On the 10th day of IPAs, this Imperial IPA is bright, juicy, and fresh. It's loaded with hop driven bitterness featuring aromas of guava, citrus rind, and mango.

Poured from bottle into tulip, 1 finger cream colored head, recedes rather quickly, good lacing. Crystal clear dark golden in the glass. Mango, pineapple and guava predominately on the nose. Taste is mango and guava up front, some pineapple and citrus thru the middle, finish is pretty assertive on the bitterness. Aftertaste on the palate at first is somewhat offputting, but as it warms (or I get used to it) it isn't too bad. Finish is dry which helps.

L: dark amber one finger head no carb streams holds retention
S: candied pineapple sour roast apple not to strong though
T: strong roasted barley flavor not a lot hop barley forward
F: low carb medium body creamy sensation
