The best beer that Karbach has in the stores (limited time as it’s in their FUN series).
It doesn’t have the citrusy flavor of all the other Karbach offerings I’ve tried.
I’ll keep buying it while it lasts.

A style that used to be pretty common in the 90s, now all but gone on the American scene. This pours a very dark black, maybe a tad ruby when held up to the light, with a moderate tan head. Aroma is mostly a toasty malt, with little hop presence. Good malty flavor as well, with a touch of caramel, and bready notes. Bitterness is present, so it's not very sweet like some examples are. Full bodied but not heavy. Very nice dunkel. Too bad it's a limited run. Very drinkable.

Not a commonly found style around here, so when I saw it I jumped on it.
And karbach doesn't disappoint on this one. It's a pretty good example of what the Munich dunkel style should be. Malt forward, full bodied, a touch of chocolate perhaps, not a lot of hops, just enough so you get a smidge of bitter that compliments the sweetness at the end of each sip.
I think they did a pretty good job on this one

On tap. Dark brown color with a thin layer of light brown head. Smells of roasted malt and coconut. Medium body. Earthy malt with a lingering coconut note. Interesting
