On tap at Hay Merchant for the Karback tap takeover.
A: Pours a hazy/cloudy dark orange color. At first a bubbly white head rises to a finger, then recedes. Light lace is left behind.
S: A slight sour/tartness in the nose. Toasted malts, fleshy pumpkin, finishes with a grape sweetness. Very odd to say the least.
T: Again, sourness up front. Almost vinegary. Fleshy pumpkin pie, light spice. Then a vinous grape flavor that takes over. This does not mesh well at all, and is just...odd.
M/D: A medium body with good carbonation. Fairly creamy and smooth. Not something I really care to finish, let alone come back to.
Well this is an experiment, and as such this is what comes of it. I am not a fan. It does not mesh right, and just odd. I love Karback, but this was not very good.
