Sampled at the brewery and brought home a 4 pack, no canning date
Pours a deep maroon with hints of purple at the edge of the glass, a fluffy pink head dies rather quickly
This smells like a stack of blueberry pancakes. The blueberry is real sweet and full, maple notes and malt to round it out
The taste here emphasizes the tartness of the berries a bit more, but that underlying sweetness is still present. Some light hopping in the finish
Medium bodied for the style, the sweetness here can make it feel a bit heavier than it is, but good nonetheless. Finishes rather sticky
Overall a pretty good kettle sour, but was better on tap. Still glad that I picked up the 4 pack tho, very easy drinking
