Good head when poured over a hazy amber ale, suggesting unfiltered, not that that is a bad thing. Smell is like a classic beer, without citrous or fruity notes. The taste has a nice balance of bitterness (30) which is nicely balanced. Not too strong a taste, which can turn off my SO. It seems like a good summer beer, and certainly went down well after a round of golf. aT 5% alcohol it is so strong that one has to be overly careful how much on drinks.
