Look: Hazy golden colour, similar to honey. White 1/2 inch head lasting a minute or two, making way for a very thin collar.
Smell: a bit of a funky smell, slightly sour and a good dose of oak.
Taste: a little sour but pleasantly so, the barrel really shines through. Slight bitterness on the back end as well.
Feel: mid-level carbonation, a bit astringent.
Overall: i'm impressed with this barrel aged offering from Sawdust City (my first such brew from them). I'm certainly interested in seeking out others after this one.

On tap at the Premium Beer Experience. into a sampler glass several times over.
Golden orange with a slight haze, white head but only lights whisps of retention. Spotty lace. Nose has oak barrels, white wine, some blueberry, lighter fleshed fruits and a touch of tropical hop notes. Slight funk. Really outstanding, subtle yet complex. Tastes of a golden ale, almost Tripel-like. Spice, light fleshed fruits, some nectarine and apple. Wild/funky character comes through again with noticeable but unobtrusive alcohol. Galaxy hops are easily identifable. Medium body, with a bit of extra weight to it and a bite to the carbonation. Really tasty and a great example of a well put together BA'd Belgian.

Enjoyed multiple times at The Rhino's first beer festival. Unique complex creation of IPA, Belgian yeast, a wine barreling used for blueberry wine.Three months on the barrel. Big lacy, lots of foamy head. Very smooth and woody. Woody and blueberries square off and the tartness is what I noticed, the wood to Sam the beer's Creator. Galaxy hops in the finish. Funky initially, less so noticed on the nose later in the keg, and when the foam evaporates.
