Bar Hop First Anniversary party. A RIS subdued by some raspberry infusion. Chocolate and roast with raspberry in the finish, like a dessert. On cask. Lacey. Raspberry save for a porter.Dark with a shred of a head.Full mouthfeel experience. Would like even less raspberry, none is OK too.

On cask at Bar Hop. This is their regular "... Uranus" with raspberries.

Beer is black with a fair-sized tan head. Good retention.

Lots of cocoa in the nose, along with a bunch of raspberry. Roasted malt.

Rapsberries are right up front when tasted. While I love raspberries, there are somewhat jarring with this beer, and it is hard to get much else. The cocoa flavours make this taste like drinking chocolate-covered raspberries. A bit medicinal, booze noticeable. Some roast malt, but not much.

Full bodied, low natural carbonation.

Overall- they really went hog-wild with the raspberries on this one. Too much. I prefer the regular version.

On cask at Bar Hop's customer appreciation night, into a sampler glass. The base imperial stout aged on raspberries.

Black with a reddish brown cap of head. Splotches of lacing and some retention. Nose has medicinal cherry/raspberry, dark chocolate, light roast and even some odd yogurty notes. Taste has chocolate and raspberries, coffee and roast is prominent mid-palate and carries strong well into the finish. Low carbonation, thick syrupy feel. Raspberry character wasn't great here, still need to try the base beer.
