This is more of a radler or IPA/radler hybrid than a true fruited IPA, at least in my mind, especially given the ABV. In that context it is quite excellent. Compared to a bigger ABV IPA like Grapefruit Sculpin, it’s going to be a tough grading process. I’m going to focus on my enjoyment of the beer and it’s incorporation of both IPA and grapefruit characteristics, since that is what’s advertised.
